| Two year old dun stud colt, loaded with dun factor. "Ace" is possibly a dunskin (dun+buckskin) and will be tested before he's ready to stand at stud. Ace's sire is a NCHA money earner and I'm hoping Ace will follow the same hoof prints as him. He will be sent to a trainer fall of 2008 to begin his cutting career and won't stand at stud until 2009 at the earliest. We do have one mare waiting in line to breed to him and we may allow him to cover her late this summer, to see what he can produce. She is a gorgeous mare herself and it should be a very good cross. Ace is built very much like his dam was, short and stout, though I think he will wind up taller than she was (she stood 13.3 hands). As of now (mid-January) he is already 13.3 at the withers and 14 hands at the hip... and VERY stout. I really cant get over how thick he is. Click on the thumbnails below to view larger images. |
